Massive Capcom leak reveals a list of new games for fans to look forward to: Earlier this month Capcom was hit by a ransomware attack that lead to (insert boring text). Anyway, here’s a list of the new games that were leaked from Capcom’s planned release schedule for 2021 and beyond!

RESIDENT EVIL

Contained with in the leaks are multiple upcoming Resident Evil titles including news of a demo release and an upcoming online-mode for the highly anticipated Resident Evil 8 (Village). Besides the obvious, here’s a list of all the Resident Evil games currently planned for release:

• Resident Evil Outrage: apparently a code-name for the next game in the Revelations series. Meaning we should be seeing a Resident Evil: Revelations 3 in the 4th quarter of 2021.
• Resident Evil 4 Remake: Another Resident Evil remake (as expected) to follow the success of the first three remakes. Personally, I’d rather see a remake of Code Veronica but I’m happy either way. We can expect to see a new and shiny RE4 some time in 2022 (Q4).
• Biohazard Apocalypse: Sorry to let you down but I have no idea what this is. With Biohazard being the Japanese title for Resident evil games I’m confident it belongs in this category, but I’m yet to see any reliable clues. Either way, we will find out in 2023 (Q3).
• Resident Evil Hank: Another mysterious title that’s either a code-name or a typo. I’m almost certain that Hank is a reference to Hunk, and as one of the coolest characters in the RE universe, a game dedicated to Hunk would be a welcome addition to the franchise. Planned to release 2024.

DRAGONS DOGMA 2

A lesser known but critically acclaimed RPG from Capcom is finally getting the love it deserves. We knew it was coming based on the PC port and Netflix adaptation news, but now it’s confirmed! Capcom is officially working on a sequel and it’s set to release in the 2nd quarter of 2022.

MONSTER HUNTER 6

We didn’t need a leak to know this one was coming. The previous entry Monster Hunter: World is Capcom’s best selling game to date, with over 16.4 million copies sold. Not only is it a best seller, it’s also one of the best rated games out there. set to release Q2 2023.

ONIMUSHA (NEW WORK)

I’m unsure of the official title but I don’t care. I’m just glad to see Capcom is releasing a new Onimusha game. For those who don’t know, classic Onimusha is basically Resident Evil but with swords & demons.. and it’s awesome (If you haven’t played before, pick up the Onimusha Remaster) Set to release Q4 2022.

STREET FIGHTER 6

I haven’t played a Street Fighter game since the PS1 era and I’m not too bothered about a new release but for those who are.. Great news! Capcom is officially working on a new Street Fighter game and it’s set to release Q3 2022. With a Super edition in 2023 and an Ultra edition in 2024.

CAPTAIN COMMANDO

A futuristic side-scrolling beat ’em up originally released in 1991 for arcades and later ported to several consoles. There’s not a lot of info on what Capcom has planned for this old title. It could be a simple remaster, a remake, or even a total reboot. Whatever it is, the leak shows a release date for Q4 2024.

FINAL FIGHT REMAKE

Another old arcade side-scrolling beat ’em up that Capcom is looking to revive with a remake. It will be interesting to see what Capcom does with this, considering the original game was released in 1989. Set to release Q2 2024.

MEGA MAN MATCH 

With nothing but a title to go on, there’s a lot of room for speculation on Capcom’s next Mega Man game. The only information available at the time of writing is the release date: Q3 2022.

POWER STONE REMAKE

Set to release Q3 2024.
