Capcom has been on a roll lately, with a constant stream of reboots, remakes and sequels. Some of which have already been released, whilst others only came to our attention thanks to the Massive November Leaks of 2020. However, one game that Capcom managed to keep secret was the recently announced Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection. The game will be releasing on the 25th of February 2021.

Is Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection a Nintendo Switch Exclusive?

Yes, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Although, I’m almost certain that the game will be ported over to other platforms at a some point (assuming it sells well). And if you doubt that claim, just remember that both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Remake started out as GameCube exclusives.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins History

Ghosts ‘n Goblins was first released in 1985 as an arcade game that was later ported over to several home consoles including the Commodore 64, the Amstrad CPC and the NES. The Next game in the series was Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, followed by Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts which was released exclusively for the Super Nintendo in 1991. The last notable entry worth mentioning is Ultimate Ghosts ‘n Goblins, released for the PSP in 2006.
